I do not accept insurance. This provides greater privacy of information and reduces the cost of doing business (because there is a lot of extra work with insurance companies). This allows me to offer the best fee that I can.

I offer a limited number of spots for clients to be on a sliding scale in order to make therapy more accessible in our community. Current clients are considered for the open spots for the sliding scale before anyone else. The sliding scale is based on household size and household income. (For example, if you have roommates, we don't consider that a household in most cases; but a couple that keeps finances separate but splits household bills would be considered a household, in most cases.) If your situation is complicated or your rate on this scale would be a hardship due to other circumstances in your life then I would be happy to discuss those with you.
